Warm and sunny. 30F at 7am.
TR sets walk-in trap in the morning with fresh eggs.
Checked in the afternoon, only magpies.
It seems that the ravens need to be scared off the corn feeders to go to walk-in traps.
Brought in large bag of food scraps collected at the village on Saturday.

Warm and sunny, highs around 38F.
Bryan sets Bison trap. Coyotes have eaten a lot of the bait.
Bryan and Tom pick up bull elk by refuge with scabes.
Set up the launcher at Mead ranch. Tom sits on it.
Bryan catches adult Golden at Bison bait around 11am.
Tom restocks the bait after ducks eat it all.
Tom springs trap around 12:45 and catches 13 ducks and 5 ravens.
Derek and Bryan come help extract them from the net and process.
Tom bands two more ravens at walk-in trap at 5pm.

Bryan sets Bison bait.
Tom checks trap at 11am and catches an adult bald eagle. Eagle is heavily tangled in the net.
Tom hoods the eagle, but gets taloned pretty hard; cannot get a hold of Bryan.
Tom leaves eagle under the net and goes to get Bryan. They come back and extract the eagle for processing.
Tom goes to clinic for minor cuts for the afternoon.

Cold and windy.
Bryan sets Bison bait.
Tom checks bait around 1 and a Golden eagle is feeding. Trap does not fire in time and eagle flushes. Eagle perches above the bait.
Bryan and Tom return to watch the eagle. Goes down a couple hours later.
Trap does not fire. Bryan tries to sneak up but trap does not fire and eagle flushes.
Trap didn't fire because battery pack had come detached.
