warming up a bit, but still -15F.
Bryan sets traps at 3Mile and Kelly Dump.
Tom sees ad BAEA above bait in morning.
Tom and Bryan return to check but bald is not there.
Nothing at 3Mile but ravens.
Ad BAEA is spotted at Kelly Dump on the way back. It was perched slightly to the west and then flew over the bait, flushed ~5 cora and perched near the gravel mounds. Sat on it from 8:45 until 11:00 when a Golden flies and displaces the BAEA. BAEA flew to a tree closer to the bait, but the GOEA starts to feed with about 10-15 min. Trap does not fire, so BB tried to sneak up the road to see if it was a range issue and spooks the BAEA in the process. GOEA and Magpies flush, but not due to BB. I think they flushed due to the sound of a poor hit by firing pin.
Tom and Bryan scout for sites to put new baits.
TR covered baits.
