Clear nad 11F @ 7am. Cold and cloudy, clear in the afternoon 15 F
8:15 Tom spots an adult bald above NoCamping bait
8:30 Bryan and Tom spook bald off bait while slowing down to fire trap
9:00 After a chat with Eric Cole, the bald goes down to the bait and is captured
11:15 Tom checks baits and finds a Juvi GOEA feeding on GVCG South bait
Trap does not fire,
Tom attempts to sneak up and fire the trap but spooks Golden off
Trap appears to have lost charge, no other problems visible. Trap re-set.
1:30 Bryan and Tom look for trapping sites North on GV road, but find snow is too deep and there aren't any appealing sites
decide that if we're the only car driving around there we'll probably spook the birds off
Put elk without 3 quaters at the 3Mile bait.
2:30 - 78 SAGR seen near the Curlew nest.
No eagles return for the afternoon, eagles spotted around warm ditch west of GV road. Went over to find the food and nothing seen.
TR covered GVCG and 3mile. Left NoC bait uncovered.
